The Canadian Paediatric Society works through its many Expert Committees to advance child and youth health issues in Canada. They are the backbone of the CPS and include:
- Developing position papers and practice points
- Advocating on child and youth health issues
- Serving as spokespeople in the media and other public forums
- Building CME courses and programs
- Engaging with allied organizations on behalf of the CPS
- Contributing to CPS projects

Get involved
Any CPS member can apply for committee positions as they fall open. Members are chosen by the CPS Board of Directors based on knowledge and need, professional considerations and demographics (e.g., location in Canada).
