The CPS is the professional home of almost 4000 paediatric health care providers: paediatricians, paediatric subspecialists, paediatric residents, nurses, physicians, students and others.
The strength of our membership allows the CPS to influence public policy and help health professionals, parents and others to make the best decisions about the health of Canada’s children and youth.
If you are involved in child and youth health, consider joining the Canadian Paediatric Society.
The CPS is a trusted voice for public policy issues that affect children and youth because its members are on the frontlines of child and youth health in every province and territory. By adding your voice, you make us stronger. The change that we can make together benefits all kids in Canada.
Our education programs aim to ensure that health professionals working with children and youth can provide the best quality care, and help physicians maintain their competence.
We connect health professionals from across Canada, through live events as well as through collaborative initiatives that bring together experts and advocates.
Everything the CPS does is driven by members, from its network of expert committees and subspecialty sections, to working groups that lead strategic priorities like mental health, Indigenous health, and paediatric drugs and therapeutics.
